Greetings to All,

On behalf of the Peace Alliance I want to invite you to join citizens from across the country on May 9th for the Peace of the Pie national action. In celebration of Mother's Day we will be bringing pies to the Offices of U.S. Congressional Representatives, and demonstrating support for legislation (H.R. 808) to create a cabinet level Department of Peace and Nonviolence.

We will bring these pies to Congress as a symbol of the way we share this country, and asking that the nation's institutions and budget reflect our desire that peace, conflict resolution and violence prevention may be included as top priorities for our nation and the world.

We will be holding conference calls to go over details about the action and answer any questions that you may have. If you want to participate in the action please join us on a call. Please find all conference call dates, times and details below this message.
