Blind Faith

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature,
nor do the children of men as a whole experience it.

Power of Words

Everyone wants to feel well. In order to feel well, you have to think well. Positive emotions emanate from positive thoughts, and positive thoughts are composed of positive words.

The sound by which all things are created isn't just any sound. Hindu, Buddhist and Jewish mystics believe that this Word creates and pervades everythi… Continue

Make Meaning

In The Art of the Start, by Guy Kawasaki, the author talks about the very first things that should be done to get a project or business up and running. He mentions three things that I think are very inspiring and relevant to the advent of this project. There are more than three of course, but right now this is where I am still intentionally focusing. Here is the first one to think about:

1. Make Meaning - The best reason to start an organization is to make meaning -- to createContinue

Transcendence in Civilization

This post is a quote from a book I just finished called 'The Path of
Least Resistance - Learning to Become the Creative Force in Your Own
Life'.

"Transcendence is not merely a personal principle; it can occur in civilization as a whole.

When we consider the causal forces at work in history, we might
conclude that at present our civilization has a probable future of
destruction, decay and disintegration. However, in each individual on
this planet there is the deepest longing… Continue

Alana,

What can I say about HUB? The Awakening Your Brilliance event last weekend was what we have all been waiting for, a chance to connect with others from around the country and the world who have literally "awakened" to changes taking place on our planet and within our hearts.

I have been producing "experiential" events for Fortune 500 companies for the last 8 years and I can honestly say this was one of the most powerful events I have ever attended. I finally was able to perceive the vision for global transformation that HUB represents first-hand and it became real for me. I feel like I understand so much better my own mission in the world to bring healing through peace, through caring and serving those who have the greatest need.

The more I think about it, the more profound the model that HUB has created becomes to me, as someone who always felt the pain of the world but didn't know what to do, but also as a business person who joined this site because I "received the download" that it was time to "change the world through business." I see how the HUB model can be used by all of us to build those organizations and businesses that will bring sustainability, compassion, and abundance that will be the peace and transformation we all seek.

I am completely indebted to you Alana for making me aware of HUB and being such a friend through this process of change we are now experiencing. I am also so grateful to all those "lone wolves" who came before us and laid the groundwork for the journey we are about to embark on now.

And I share the prophetic words of the Hopi Elders with all of those who are here on the Peace Portal because you believe that the need for peace is greater than it ever has been, but still feel that you are alone or isolated and don't know what to do:

"The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! For we are the ones that we have been waiting for."

Peace, Love and Joy!

Hi Ed - so what do you think of HUB? Huh? Charlie's having dinner with Lynne Twist tonight, and Pangea Day was absolutely mind-blogglingly beautiful. Just another, in a continuing series of amazing days. Will see the Juarez family tomorrow... We miss you.

Hi Edward, please be sure to read the new post in Peace in Action and meet (an offer of being a "friend" perhaps?) to one of our new members, Charlie. Watch his video and read the post - you'll see why!

Hi Edward,
Great to meet you here, there is so much to this "law of abundance and attraction." I have a group of friends that I meet with regularly to keep on track and explore these issues as well as the Hearts for Peace Group which sends out positive intentions for the world.
Have you ventured onto the Intention Experiment and Living the Field sites ?

Love and blessings

Alana,

Thanks for your warm welcome. The "hat" is actually me standing in front of a picture of the Buddha, just a camera trick.

I am also very focused right now on the "Law of Abundance" and the "Law of Attraction" to begin building a network of change agents around the world.

My particular inspiration is change through business, and connecting talented, accomplished professionals and visionaries who can apply their talents to helping communicate new paradigm business principles to new and existing businesses.

So my desire is tot create something that is more along the lines of a consultative social entrepreneurship with a good dose of spiritual enlightenment and co-creation to boot.

The network I just started is just in the beginning stages, so it is a little bare, but I will send an invitation across.
