- How long have you been involved in PeaceMaking?
- Never officially involved in peacework.My Dad always called me a hippie During the Vietnam war, young and grossly affected by the body count we saw daily on the evening news,is probabaly what stared my quest for peace.
I have been a Reiki Master/Teacher, For 7 years, always following peace and positive thinking. Connecting with universal energy to relay peace thoughout the world.Odd how the governement thinks we have to fight for peace.
- Are you currently involved in any non-profit or volunteer work?
- Starting volunteer classes for Hospice.
- What is your Passion? Your Purpose?
- I am a Reiki Master/Teacher, as well as a Medical Tech and deal with ill patients every day. I try to help them understand that peace from within is a lovely place to start their healing.My Reiki energy is on auto flow when someone is out of balance, and I just hear the questions I should ask,and patients jsut open up to me. The staff in our office, especially the Drs are amazed. I am lucky to have a Dr in the office who appreciates Reiki, and often mentions it to our patients,as well as asking me to send him Reiki through out the day!
- How do any products or services you offer contribute to making the world more peaceful?
- My web site, www.thehealingrealm.com shares Reiki Information to all. I share Reiki, and hold classes once monthly in my home. Free treatments for all who wish them. I believe peace starts within. One person at a time, Reiki can help people achieve that.
- Is there anything else that you'd like us to know about you?
- Like all of us on this site, I know I am here for a grand purpose, and little by little it is apearing before my eyes. I have asked the universe to let me know, as I feel I am ready. And I know it will be unveiled to me as it is doing so now, a bit at a time! I am here to help heal.

I have been dealing with cases of discrimination, stigmatization, and social/ professional injustices with different people including recently of HIV positive people. In Stead of Facing our hatred, They must be provided equal Opportunities in all Walks of Life.
I have Conducted lectures in Madrassas ( Islamic Religious School ) regarding HIV/AIDS, laws; occupational health and safety and protection of their fundamental rights.
I also worked for World Bank Group (International Finance Corporation) their assignment have been completed by me successfully, which has earned me great appreciation from the World Bank Group.
I offer my services to work for any Human Rights and Peace organization as a Consultant/ Representative for monitoring/ Project Assessment of their projects in Pakistan or any part of the World and providing Legal Assistance. The whole thing that booted me into making a product line was wanting to raise money for non-profits. It's turned out to be a bigger challenge than I initially anticipated, and am constantly learning how to do "it" more efficiently, and make it beneficial to others at the same time. Some of this comes by being willing to become financially free enough (through my StemTech biz) to do pro-bono work without burning out or whining, the rest through finding ways to make marketing more win-win. Love Andrew's advice to you below, he's a Guru to be loved dearly!
Thanks again for your kind words and efforts for the DoP. I'm trying to figure out how to make an affiliate banner that you or anyone, could post on sites to help generate more sales for the Peace Alliance products, while also earning commissions. I know it can be done because our products are part of the Cafe Press Marketplace. Before the holidays I'll get that done, so if you're willing to post it on your site too, hopefully we can make a nice contribution for this year.
While I totally support and encourage anyone who wants to do that to go for it by making their own shop, I have also learned from being two years into the process, that it takes a good deal of time and marketing, to make the sales that generate the donations. SO, if what is there (and does sell well when people see it) can be marketed more effectively, more will flow into the coffers.
Would love to get Andrew's input on this all too...

marketing is really something I love! Dunno why - it just kind of comes naturally. And the more I go into it for our own work. The more I understand how it works and how the 'big boys' think. And that is the key looking at what the huge ad agencies do - they get paid a fortune for doing it and it must work because we buy the cars etc etc etc.
And the thing is us 'alternative types' have, well from my own experience, kind of being quite negative about these marketing chaps.
now by turning that around and learning to love them for their skills and learning from them - then we can 'make light work'.
It's a challenge
But hey who ever ran away from a good challenge?
