A song that relevant

We came out from the deep
To learn to love, to learn how to live
We came out from the deep
To avoid the mistake we made
That's why we are here !

We came out from the deep
To help and understand, but not to kill
It takes many lives till we succeed
To clear the debts of many hundreds years
That's why we are here

Hi Nathanel,

I've been thinking of you! So glad to see you re-appear here. I've been busy too, working with beautiful people to form an organization and business called "HUB" that you'll see a bit about here...

One of the things I am doing is finding/creating my own humanitarian peace project somewhere in the world, with help from HUB to learn and grow in the ways needed....

I wonder if you would like to join me? My thoughts were to create a mechanism to support Middle East Peacekeepers from the Peace Portal. Maybe you will have a very do-able idea, coming from your experience and perspective in the army, of how we can melt the hardened hearts, and just love the one in front of us... and as you say "...promote somehow the idea of living with love to environment and people as one."

I think of Hope Flowers School in Palestine - whose founder Ibrahim Issa is here on the Portal with us. The children need a lot of things there, but it seems very difficult to get supplies to them...

I think of Eyal who is growing his amazing MEpeace site, and bringing people from all over the world together to hold the energy of peace with all of you.

And I think of you, serving your country and people with your beautiful, loving heart for all of humanity.

How could I, or we, support you? How can we help the army to be compassionate, like you are? How can we feed people who are just on the other side of that wall?

I hope that you have enjoyed a happy Purim. I look forward to hearing from you again...

Shalom,
Alana

Take your life as a fable,
you fight for the deep truth,
you meet the right people at the right time,
you learn from your mistakes,
and in the end, you become the hero of the good ends legend...
Are you brave enough to be the cherecter that god provide you?

(guys, life can be so interesting if just let go your negative thinking and the moderan world thinking, that everyghing around us is usual and obvious,
the beauty is hidden behind this point of view...)

When I was getting out of the Navy, I went to school to become a high school teacher. I got a BA in History. After teaching at a private academy for a year, I realized that there were a lot of children with learning difficulties.

There weren't many people at the academy trained to handle that kind of situation, so I decided to go back to school and get a Masters in Special Education. In the process of getting that degree, I saw that it would be best if you could get to the children as early as possible and try to remediate or alleviate their difficulties. I ended up getting certifications in the areas of Elementary and Special Education. I have been teaching childrfen ever since and feel quite rewarded by the lights that go on in their eyes when they do well or believe in themselves.

I know what you are talking about, Nathanael. I was in the US Navy for 10 years before going back to school and becoming a teacher.

About 2 years before I got out of the military, they sent around a form about lethal force. By signing the document, we would be saying that we would use lethal force against someone when ordered to do so. On the bottom of my document I wrote No and then signed my name on the document. They never said anything about it. To this day, I think that they just took it for granted that I had signed, Yes.

My situation was far less dangerous than our present times. So along with others, I will pray and act for peace and the safety of all in this time.

Shalom,
Bill AQ
