- What is your interest in PeaceWork?
- I believe that global peace is intimately connected with personal peace.
War only happens when people are not at peace with themselves.
Finding the root causes of that lack of inner peace is vital to solving the world’s problems.
Firstly, I believe it is really necessary to sort out the basics. To resolve the key issues of human misery. There are many manifestations of this misery on a material level. For me poverty and social injustice are the main ones.
But of course we have to start with ourselves first! ,
- How long have you been involved in PeaceMaking?
- 25 years
- Are you currently involved in any non-profit or volunteer work?
- Yes – its my life! I am the co-founder of a soon-to-be-registered charity, The PHI (HealthCare) Trust and a Director of a Social Enterprise, PHI (HealthCare) CIC.
Both work in health care.
We work on different levels. On one hand we are involved in amalgamating Complementary Medicine into everyday health care, through doctor’s surgeries in the UK.
On the other, we are involved in creating projects to assist ex- offenders and people with mental health problems to live better lives.
We are about to launch what will be the first of a chain of Café’s with a Conscience. These will be mainstream businesses, which provide work experience for people who have difficulty getting work, such as ex-offenders and people recovering from long-term mental illness. Alongside their employment, they will be receiving supportive therapy and counselling.
We want to eventually take the concept of these café’s into major cities throughout the world.
- What is your Passion? Your Purpose?
- My passion is loving life to its full. Living life to its full and doing something worthwhile with my life while I am on this planet.
I have heaps of energy - when I was younger I was intent on focusing that energy on wanting to change the world through violent means.
Then someone helped me to start looking at myself.
Now I focus that energy on wanting to change the world through peaceful means.
- How do any products or services you offer contribute to making the world more peaceful?
- When people have equality of healthcare and equality of knowledge of ways to improve their lives, it creates a huge sea-change of consciousness and self-awareness.
This is a route to peace. Peace within becomes peace without.
- Is there anything else that you'd like us to know about you?
- I work with an incredibly passionate group of people. All very professional and focussed.
Our organisations need help. We need financial help and we need help from people who share the same visions and want to work with us, in some way or other.

Watch out - I am about - The pitfalls of marketing Love
I was talking this morning to my beloved friend Christine this morning about something which I wanted to share here.
One of the many jobs, in the organisations I work for, is to do the marketing. I am a strange being - I love marketing - I have a real passion for it - and some people say I do it well. I have worked quite a lot of my life in sales in some form or other and it is very natural for me to 'think sales' whether it is about a product, an idea, a charity, a vision. Doesn't matter

Health Care - Starting at the beginning
Looking through some of the other members profile's here, I see that there is a real common sense of unity of purpose.
My interest and work I do is involved in health care. It is what I have a passion for.

Yes it is a small and beautiful world. You can always get in touch with us, we run Transcendence workshops in UK, we used to organise for S&G a long time ago. We run the Tantra Kryia yoga training, we are a bit different to S&G and skydancing. In November most of the tantra teachers in UK are coming to our temple.

I so respect the work that you are doing in healthcare.
I appreciate you asking why I am not currently offering harp therapy in hospitals, hospices and cancer centers. For the last few years, my body was not able to support my spirit in this work. The harp weighs 35 pounds which I would carry up stairs and anywhere to reach patients in their homes.
Much focus has been on healing body, mind and spirit, and I believe my current work is to bring deep peace to everyone through my recorded music. I offer the music as a fundraiser to healthcare settings and nonprofits to help support their programs and patients.
I am here, as the rest of us are, to help raise the frequency of our planet. My way is to reach those who have not yet realized that their lives are busy but empty, and that health is not merely the absence of illness.
I hope to continue our connection. Holistic health is the foundation for compassion.
