At 7:12am on November 30, 2007, Pat Sciacca said…: Today is my mom's 94th birthday. she has lived with us for 27 years, ever since she retired from teaching. She used to be very, very active. She grew a wonderful big garden in our backyard.

Then in 1990 she had breast cancer. Although the mastectomy and chemo ridded her of breast cancer it also sapped her energy.

Now she sleeps a lot and sometimes has trouble with her memory. I celebrate her longevity.

Coming to Peace Portal frequently provides me with an opportunity to hear from others who yearn for peace as I do.

Today on my mom's 94th birthday I paray that all our thoughts can combine to make a positive difference in movement toward peace in the world.

I have Conducted lectures in Madrassas ( Islamic Religious School ) regarding HIV/AIDS, laws; occupational health and safety and protection of their fundamental rights.

I also worked for World Bank Group (International Finance Corporation) their assignment have been completed by me successfully, which has earned me great appreciation from the World Bank Group.

I offer my services to work for any Human Rights and Peace organization as a Consultant/ Representative for monitoring/ Project Assessment of their projects in Pakistan or any part of the World and providing Legal Assistance. I shall be thankful if you please forward my Letter to any Organisation i will send you my C.v as soon as i get your e.mail.

If I am given the opportunity of joining you, I assure you that I will leave no stone unturned in working according to your manifesto. I will ever be ready to help and assist the needy and helpless, whenever I see the people in dire need of any assistance, my heart really aches and prompts me to go at once to stand by them.
