I was born in St. Petersburg in 1983 and came to Israel at the age of 13. My family moved to a settlement in the West Bank named Ma'aleh Levona, in between Nablus and Ramallah. Something felt not right. I started to ask questions. And I realized that there is a better way to live than to occupy other people's land.
My friend invited me to participate in action for peace. I met people I liked and I found answers to what bothered me. I changed my viewpoint and took the initiative to share myself and the possibility I found for cooperation for peace.
I am a modern Zionist. It is important for me to live here respect the other that live here. This is why I joined mepeace.org, a community of people that believe in peace and that respect one another.
Please see if you can make a connection with OneVoice and my organization, Where Peace Lives.
As per my e-mail of 9/24, I would like at least two schools (1 Palestinian and 1 Israeli) to particpate in the Kids International Peace Mural Exchange.
Let me know if you can be of some assistance.
Thank you.
Much love and peace,

How are you? Two weeks ago I participated in a Craig's List Non-Profit Boot Camp in NYC and met a teacher from Staten Island, NY who is an Israeli. He said he would put me in contact with Shimon Perez's Center for Peace. In the meantime, I would appreciate your help in networking with OneVoice for the purpose of bringing the Where Peace Lives' International Peace Mural Exchange to schools, organizations and communities in Israel and Palestine.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi Lemuel
It is heartening to know that there are young men of peace like you in the Middle East. I am honored that you are inviting me into friendship. Shalom, Dave.
Shalom, Lemuel, Thank you for the invitation. I appreciate the work you're doing for peace. I've been involved with the Network of Spiritual Progressives since 2003 and that group has given me hope that peace and healing in the Middle East are indeed possible. In Peace, Sharon
Thank you for inviting me to be your friend. Where Peace Lives is very interested in bringing the Kids International Peace Mural Exchange to schools in the Middle East, including Israel. We just completed a mural in Eygpt.
I have been e-mailing contacts at the OneVoice organization, but have not gotten a response.
I look forward to being in communication with you and altering the conversation for peace.
Much love and peace,
