Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually who are we not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
We were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And when we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

- Marianne Williamson

Hallo Erwin,

Greetings Erwin,

Thanks for inviting me to join your group of friends.

I visited the Netherlands VERY briefly many years ago and loved it.... I hope to be able to travel there again in this lifetime.

As a leader (and lover) of Dances of Universal Peace, I share your intention to be the best possible instrument of peace I can be, and also your admiration of Ghandi.

Blessings,
Cathryn

Erwin,
I am honored to accept your invitation to be your friend. Or as we say here in the south, I'm just plain "tickled." Gandhi is one of my heroes also, as is Mother Teresa and, also as you said, many many others known and unknown, too numerous to mention!
Look forward to sharing with you and uniting as we nurture peace on this wonderful planet.
Blessings without number to you,
Susan
