Profile Information

What country do you live in?
In my heart, there are no countries... In my head, there are too many. In my body, happily I live in Ireland...
Do you have a favorite quote to share?
Be Realistic!... Plan a Miracle!
What is your interest in PeaceWork?
I guess it must be 'Self' interest & hopefully never selfish interest... It is my prayer...
How long have you been involved in PeaceMaking?
Since I can remember... Although I've had some awful lapses in times of unlove.. & now accept responsibility for all my actions & have learned that peace is just a word- being at peace is a state of mind & takes a willingness to surrender to a higher power.. & I'm ready....
Are you currently involved in any non-profit or volunteer work?
Happily Yes!- I assist asylum seekers with their legal work & with a drumming/story telling workshop... I shall also be in the kitchen- cooking or serving when Amma comes to Ireland in October...
What is your Passion? Your Purpose?
To be a bridge between all races, colours, creeds, religions, & countries... & I try to keep the smile of my heart- on my face as much as possible- I notice that it makes a difference...
How do any products or services you offer contribute to making the world more peaceful?
A peaceful me- is a start...
Is there anything else that you'd like us to know about you?
I don't know exactly how many lifetimes it has taken me to get the point- but now I have it, there is no turning back.. Being made up of 11 nationalities, I am asked on a daily basis- 'where are you from?'... & I find that I'm very tired of this question- (although I sense it is natural for a lot of people to ask..)
I am far more interested in today than yesterday or tomorrow... although I do care about the tomorrow I will be leaving for my child & all children... & I do care that history resonates with men, women, & children & the earth itself crying out for peace.... If we are 'The ones we have been waiting for...' I now have a gentle strength to take up the cause...
Do you have a SKYPE name?
T.Harper
What are your SKYPE privacy preferences? Do you want members to contact you when you're online?
I often work from home & so I cannot always drop everything for a chat... but I do log in most days to Ning & am best contacted here...

Peace In The Park Cork Ireland 2008

Dearest Fellow Pilgrims,
Just wanted to share some news about my latest Peace Adventure.... For World Peace Day 21st September, I co founded a huge plan to hold a Peace & Positivity Festival, right in the heart of Cork City... Paul Kearney (a wonderful laughing Buddha of a man!) & myself approached the City Council to get permission to use The Peace Park... 2,000 euros later we were given the right of way... (Insurance, & health & safety costs) We got very limited sponsorship...… Continue

Blessed are the Peace Makers!

I've been so delighted with the inspirational imput of all friends on this site, that I've had a little peace adventure...

On September 15th, I decided to join the Earth Dance Community &
hold a Peace Vigil at my local Unitarian Church... It was great! I
decided to initiate it on the 10th & hold it on the 15th... in an
amazingly short period, I miraculously ended up with 17 musicians, 1
lighting designer, a Taoist recluse, a devout Hindhu, 7 Sudanese
Muslims, 5 Polish folk, 1 Argent… Continue

A Quiet moment to reflect...

Dear Fellow Peace Pilgrims,
Could part of the reason we haven't yet achieved the deep peace we long for in this world, be due to the lack of enough quiet moments?... Are there any people in this community who have many quiet days? I usually manage 2 a week if I'm lucky... & I'll always catch some moments during busy days... But I'm aware that I feel that my inner peace is harder when I'm around unnatural noise... Unless we become quiet, how can we listen? I would love to know other peo… Continue

Hello Tracy,

Some months ago, the unknown word mahaivi resounded in my mind at night. I took down a poem about Love and Life. And I sketched a symbol of Life. The following morning I looked up the word. It was an old Polynesian word that means "to live and be alive". We are officially launching it on 1/1/9. Please visit www.mahaivi.net and help to spread it as a universal symbol of Peace, Love and Life.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Pedro

How wonderful to hear from you........... thank you. We are true friends because if we do not keep in touch regularly when we do we just take up were we left off!!!
This is for your throat chakra. Place some blue lace agate in a glass jug of water. Leave it in the sun preferably a window sill facing East, as after about midday the energy from the sun is not as strong. Leave for at least 24 hours (intuition will tell you!!) then drink the water every day.
Oh yes............... I would love to meet you, we are planning to be in the UK October time. My Aunt, my mum's sister died on Sunday March 9th, and I feel so helpless here, but, of course I keep sending so much love and light.
Please take pics of your parade, that is such fun!!!
Yours, Jane, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Forgot to tell you, if any crystal/stone ends in "ite" do not cleanse with water. An old Red Indian tip is to cleanse in brown rice for 24 hours. J.

Just been into crystalage.com this is what they say:-

Cheering, nurturing, emotionally supportive;
Happy, lively, feminine energy;
An anti-depressant;
Recommended for periods of prolonged stress or difficulty;
Energy can be quite directional;
Aids healing in connective tissue by placing on affected area for short period.

It gets its name from Tanzania where it is found, but it is also found in Austria, Norway, Pakistan, Sweden and USA.

I like to lie on the floor and place the following stones on my chakras:-
Red Jasper - base
Carnelian - sacral
Citrine - solar plexus
Aventurine - heart
Blue lace agate (Tanzanite!) - throat
Sodalite - third eye
Amethyst - crown

It's funny because sometimes I lie there motionless and you feel a stone/stones fall off, when that happens to not attempt to put them back in place - you don't need that crystals energy any more, well, for the time being!!!!
all luv, Jane.
