What is your interest in PeaceWork?

I am taking an active role in my daily life to promote peace, love, tolerance and understanding in the way I conduct myself and interact with others, both known or unknown to me. I am trying to find a way to work within a program that encourages this philosophy. I have worked for the last thirty years within the defense industry and I am choosing to not participate in it any longer. I believe our energy and resources would be best suited to feed, house and educate the people of the world and lead by example.

How long have you been involved in PeaceMaking?

About five yrs now, but not soon enough. I should have been proactive many years ago! But it's never too late to change and make changes in the world !

Are you currently involved in any non-profit or volunteer work?

I am becoming active with a local group in Sarasota which recently formed. It is : www.centerforreligioustolerance.com
I am a member of Rising Tide International in Sarasota Florida.

I'd like to be pro active with more programs

What is your Passion? Your Purpose?

Promoting goodwill, peace and love throughout......
I know I am here at this time to serve and assist where I am needed.

How do any products or services you offer contribute to making the world more peaceful?

I donate to peace organizations from every sale of my art.
My work always has a theme, ie., peace, love, spirituality, healing or protesting the war, hate, or intolerance......

Some of my friends know me as Salik.
