What is your interest in PeaceWork?

I have always been guided by an inner spirit directing me towards peace- even when the outer wanted to fight everything and anything around me. Peace is definitely the way-- and that's no corny cliche either. There comes a time in everyone's life when you must choose between conscious giving or unconscious living.

How long have you been involved in PeaceMaking?

17 years, starting with my time with Oprah Winfrey back in the early 90s.

Are you currently involved in any non-profit or volunteer work?

I am currently on the Board of Trustees at Unity on the Bay in Miami, where I've served as Vice President and also coordinator for Adventures In Faith, our annual community outreach program with over 1000 members in 100+ in-home study groups.

What is your Passion? Your Purpose?

Media consulting and helping people find their authentic voice. At Spirit MediaWorks, a media consulting company I co-founded in 2003, it is our passion to produce and promote people, products and programs that enhance our lives and inspire our souls. I've worked in broadcasting for two decades, most prominently as a supervising senior producer at The Oprah Winfrey Show where I picked up four Daytime Emmys and a NAACP Image Award for Best Talk/News Documentary.

How do any products or services you offer contribute to making the world more peaceful?

We are currently developing content for an online broadband network for spiritual seekers and world movers.

Is there anything else that you'd like us to know about you?

As Julie Andrews would warble, "These are a few of my favorite things" : movies (Shawshank Redemption, All About Eve,Tootsie, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off).... food (tabouli, sushi, Froot Loops. NOT at the same time though!)...cities (Barcelona, Vancouver, Cap d'Antibes in South of France)....musical artists (Sting, Annie Lennox, Seal, Madonna, George Michael, Sade)
